Not much to blog about

Man, Spring Training is in the thick of things and the Padres are 2-7. No worries, though. They’ve been playing good ball. Everybody will be ready for Opening Day. I don’t really follow Spring Training games closely, you know what I mean? It just isn’t like the regular season. I don’t know about you guys, but I am already ready for Opening Day.

I’m not yet locked into baseball, though. I’m more into basketball right now. But when Opening Day comes around, I am surely going to be in the baseball and basketball mood.
Matt Antonelli has been a real bright spot for the Padres this Spring. He was a guy who fell off the radar last year, and didn’t hit very well. But now, he’s out of that slump, and could maybe be the Padres future 2nd baseman for years to come.
That’s about all I have for now.
God bless!!!

GO THUNDER!!!!!

It’s time for baseball!!!

Well, Spring Training baseball. It’s still not the same as the regular season, but at least there is baseball played live by some big league clubs today. The Padres play their first exhibition game tomorrow versus the Mariners with their annual charity game. Now, though, it will count as a REAL spring training game. Woo hoo!!!!! Padres baseball (spring training edition) starts tomorrow! 🙂

I pciked up my copy of MLB 10 The show yesterday for the PS3, and I have to say, I was really, REALLY impressed. It looks almost like a real game. The batting stances, pitching windups, stadiums, cracks of the bat, everything moves along just like a real game. I recommend this game to anyone who has a PS3 console. It is worth the 60 bucks. Believe me.

Well, now Adrian has come out and has said that he wants macho money. He’s talking about 20-25 million a year. That is way too much for the Padres to afford. So I think that he’s gonna be on the go. Question is, to who? According to Jon Heyman of SI.com, the Red Sox, Mets, Dodgers, White Sox, and more teams are interested. I think the Padres should ask for a lot in return for Adrian, I mean, he’s in the prime of his career. He has a small contract for a couple more years, and he is good.

Please keep Chelsea King in your prayers. She was killed in Rancho Bernardo a couple of days ago. I hope God is with the king family as they try to move forward from this terrible loss. God Bless Chelsea King and Rest in Peace.

Padres play their first spring training game tomorrow versus the Mariners at 12:05 PM PT!!!!!
