My Apologies

I am so sorry that I haven’t blogged for a while. I’ve been playing a lot of basketball recently, i’ve been to Fresno, and now I am on Spring Break, so life is going pretty well. Life is going pretty well for the Padres as well. They’ve shown some real promise, if i’m not mistaken, they are 15-10-1 this spring. But records don’t matter whatsoever at this point. The Friars have played well. Chase Headley, most of all. This guy was slumping for 2 years, with an average around .250 while playing left field. Now in ST, he has 20 RBI’s in 18 games while he’s returned to an everyday 3rd baseman. Possibly playing at his natural postition will improve his numbers dramatically? I sure hope so.

So I am going to be in school Monday April 5th, at 2:10 PM, and probably will be pulling my hair out in class, It’s going to drive me crazy knowing that my Padres are playing the first game of the season and I won’t even be able to watch it. I think i’ll sneak my iPod Touch into the class and follow the game secretly with MLB At Bat 2010.

Maybe that’ll work, idk. I just hope my teacher doesn’t read this blog!!!! Haha cuz if he does I’m sure he’ll be keeping an eye on me in class, making sure I am following his lesson instead of the Padres.

The Padres named Jon Garland the Opening Day starter. This surprised me a lot because i thought maybe C.Y. or K-Cor would get the nod. But Buddy Black knows what he’s doing. Oh yeah, and Garland starting Opening day means C.Y. will be hurling the rock at the home opener on April 12th.

Man, all this talk about baseball is getting me pumped. Another season, another 162 games, Even though the Padres may not get there this year, they still got a good solid bunch of young guys that will make a difference.

Have a good night everybody,  and God Bless!

GO PADRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember nights in class with me sitting in the back of the room, the sit closest to the wall with a hidden small portable radio on and a those old fashion head phone that went in your ear listening to a playoff game. I did not get caught but be careful! Good luck to your Padres and to Adrian. Good luck to our old boy Garland.

The ol’ trying to sneak in the game during class routine….Another baseball ritual that still gets played out. What a game! Good Luck to your Friars!
